“Good tour but the first hour was just in Armstrong Park. We barely got a block or two out in Treme so a bit disappointing to not see more of the actual neighborhood that remains. Great history on the park but not what we expected.”

“This is a great tour to understand the geography and history of the French Quarter. The guide covered the settlement of the city in the 1700's by the French, Spanish rule and the Louisiana purchase. He was well informed on the ironwork and architecture of the Quarter. We walked to the river, through the Quarter and then to Treme. It was an easy walk and all our questions were answered. Our guide suggested eating at Napoleon House for lunch and we were very pleased. I highly recommend using Soul of Nola. The owner is very organized and helpful. Her guides are energetic, friendly and knowledgeable.”
