“Spent our first morning in New Orleans on this amazing tour which took us all around the city. Our guide Joseph was SO informative with lots of history, architectural details, and cultural insights. We were able to check some things off of our bucket list (seeing the different neighborhoods and districts, a cemetery, and sampling beignets,) gained a lot of insights into the history of the city and the aftermath of hurricane Katrina (including seeing where one of the levees breached and a house that was turned into a museum of sorts), and also got a good sense of different places we want to explore further. “My daughter ( who was going to school in New Orleans) and I wanted to get an overview of the city and visit Marie Laveau's burial site. The bus left earlier then scheduled from its pickup point but we were lucky to catch it nearby. The driver/guide had a wonderful creole accent but was very difficult to understand. so the city tour was not enjoyable. We visited A cemetery - but not the one where Laveau was buried so this was OK but in the end pointless. Overall a very disappointing tour.”
